Contribution rules

Contributions to Dr. Emily Murase for SF School Board 2018 are not tax deductible. We may accept contributions of up to $500 from individuals, PACs, and non-incorporated business entities. Contributions by corporations, LLCs, foreign nationals (non-green card holders), city contractors, and minors under the age of 18 are prohibited. Spouses and domestic partners may each contribute the maximum amount from the same joint bank account, as long as they both sign the check, credit card authorization form, or accompanying letter. A business and its owner, partnerships with the same general partner, and other affiliated entities are subject to a single, combined limit of $500. Election laws require us to obtain and report the name, mailing address (No PO Box), occupation and name of employer for each individual whose contributions aggregate in excess of $99 per election. We may not accept cash, cashiers checks or money orders in excess of $99. We also may not accept contributions an owner, director, officer or named sub-contractor of any entity that is currently negotiating a contract(s) valued at $50,000 or more with the San Francisco Unified School District or the San Francisco Dept. on the Status of Women, or of any person/entity that received such a contract within the last six months. By filling out this form you are certifying that you are eligible to contribute and that your contribution is made from your own funds, and that you will not be reimbursed by any other person or entity.
